Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 28, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how MetricsClarity collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our automated client reporting platform at metricsclarity.com. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register for MetricsClarity, we collect your name, email address, company name, and authentication credentials. This information is used to create and secure your agency account.

Client Data (You Upload or Connect)

When you connect platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Analytics, or Google Ads, we collect performance data (impressions, clicks, spend, conversions) through secure OAuth integrations. You may also manually upload spreadsheets or enter client metrics through our dashboard.

Usage Data & Analytics

We collect standard log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, and diagnostic data. This helps us improve performance, detect anomalies, and maintain security.

2. Data Controller Relationship

MetricsClarity is an internal reporting platform, operated and controlled exclusively by your agency (the “Agency”). It is not a public SaaS product — MetricsClarity does not collect, process, or store client data for any purpose other than rendering dashboards and reports for the Agency’s own internal use.

  • The Agency is the Data Controller. Client performance data (e.g., Meta Ads spend, GA4 sessions, conversion metrics) is imported solely on the Agency’s direction and remains under the Agency’s control at all times.
  • MetricsClarity is a Data Processor / Service Provider. We process client data only as instructed by the Agency and do not use, retain, or disclose it for any independent purpose, advertising, profiling, or AI model training.
  • No End-Client Access. Unless the Agency explicitly configures a share link or grants portal access, MetricsClarity does not interact directly with the Agency’s clients. Any client-facing dashboard or report is a one-way, read-only output controlled and distributed by the Agency.
  • No AI Training on Client Data. When MetricsClarity generates AI executive summaries, only pre-aggregated, summary-level metrics are sent to Google Gemini. Raw client records, user-level identifiers, and granular transaction data are never transmitted to third-party AI models.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Service, including dashboard generation, report exporting, and automated scheduling.
  • To process and visualize your client performance data in white-labeled dashboards.
  • To send transactional communications, including alerts, scheduled reports, and billing notifications.
  • To improve product functionality, performance, and user experience through aggregated usage analysis.
  • To detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access attempts.

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored securely in Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure provider. We enforce row-level security (RLS) policies to ensure each agency’s data is strictly isolated. All data at rest and in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3 and AES-256 encryption.

We never sell, rent, or trade your data or your clients’ data to third parties. Client performance data is accessible only by the agency account that imported it and any authorized team members with explicit permissions.

5. Third-Party Integrations

MetricsClarity integrates directly with Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Google Business Profile. These integrations use official OAuth flows and API keys. We never store your platform passwords. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and can be revoked at any time from your account settings or directly within the third-party platform.

6. AI-Generated Content

MetricsClarity uses Google Gemini to generate executive summaries and strategic recommendations. Only pre-aggregated, anonymized performance metrics are sent to Gemini — never raw PII, client names, or granular user data. Generated insights are stored within your dashboard and are exclusively accessible by your team.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Performance data is retained for as long as your agency account remains active. You may delete individual clients or dashboards at any time, and the associated data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Upon full account deletion, all data is permanently erased within 60 days.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@metricsclarity.com.

9. International Data Transfers

Our servers are hosted in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the U.S. We comply with applicable cross-border data transfer frameworks and ensure standard contractual clauses are in place where required by law.

10. Children’s Privacy

MetricsClarity is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we delete that information immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information.
